A tutorial video titled "Creating Application Pages: Application & Intent to Apply" by GO Smart. The video demonstrates how an administrator can build and customize application forms within the Grant Editor. It shows the process of selecting a grant cycle, adding new pages like "Media Library Selection" and "Intent to Apply," and configuring field requirements. The video also previews the applicant’s perspective, showing how these pages appear as upload sections and eligibility quizzes on the front-end portal.
Every cycle must have at least one application page.
📄 Create an Application Page (Mandatory)
Go to the Grant Editor tab and click on Cycle Pages subtab.
Select your Program and Cycle from the dropdown menus.
Scroll to the Add New Page tool.
From the dropdown, choose the type of page you want. You can check the Interim Report or Final Report boxes to include the page in either report, rather than in the main application.
Create a title for this page (applicants see this in their Table of Contents).
Click Add. The new page will appear in the page table (in peach).
Click the blue ✏️ (pencil icon) next to your new page to add content or adjust settings.
Use the Preview Page button at the top of the editor to see how the application will look to applicants.
💡 Tip: Use the Page Templates tool to save your best pages. You can then use them again in any future grant to save time. View this tutorial for more information on templaes.
📋 Create an Intent to Apply Page (Optional)
You can add a "pre-application" step to screen applicants first. This is often used for eligibility quizzes or short interest forms. This optional, one-time page helps screen applicants and gather initial data. Read this tutorial to see how to enable it and complete its specific settings.
💡 Tip: Templates are perfect for Intent to Apply pages. Easily reuse your best content by saving and inserting templates across applications.
🗑️ Deleting a Page
To permanently delete a page, click the red 🗑 (trash icon) to its right. If you don't see the trash icon, click the blue ✏️ (pencil) icon first, then delete every question on that page. Once the page is empty, the trash icon will appear.
⚠️ Alert: If you delete questions or pages from a grant that is already open, you will permanently lose any information that applicants have already typed into those sections.
