📊 Using the Three-Year Budget Page
📝 Note: As a system-templated page, the cells, row labels, and column headers are fixed and cannot be modified. Your only customization option is the Info/Instructional text at the top of the page.
🏗️ Step 1: Add the Page to Your Cycle
Go to the Grant Editor tab → Cycle Pages subtab.
Choose the specific Program and Cycle you are working on.
Scroll down to the page type dropdown menu and select 3 Year Budget.
Check the respective boxes if this page should appear in your Interim or Final Report.
Give the page a name (e.g., "Budget Narrative & Totals"), set its position in the sequence, and click Add.
✍️ Step 2: Customize Instructions
Click the pencil icon ✏️ next to your new Three-Year Budget page.
Use the text editor to provide custom instructions or definitions to help your applicants.
Click Update at the bottom of the page.
🔍 Step 3: Preview and Review
Review the page thoroughly before launching your cycle.
Check the Tabs: On the live or preview version of the page, click through the Income, Expense, and In-Kind tabs to see the full scope of what is being requested.
Assess the Complexity: If this template is too detailed, consider removing it and using the Project Budget template or a Custom Table.
View the tutorials below to help determine which page you want to use:
Create a Project Budget Page
This page is a template for collecting budget expenses, income, and in-kind data. The only customization option is the Info/Instructional text. As a template, you cannot modify any of the cells, row labels, or column headers.
Create a Custom Table Form Page
Create a custom table with four columns and numerous rows. The label column can add your own labels or remain freeform, so your applicants can enter their own. Columns one through three will allow your applicants to enter numerical data according to the column headers and row labels.
