In Applicant Search, find the person, and click the Login button next to their name.
Keep this window open.
In the admin window, go to the Program Cycles page.
Click on the Applicant Access & Dates tab.
Change the Application Deadline to a future date and click Save Changes.
Switch back to the window logged in as the applicant. Refresh the page, and click Start on the cycle.
Return to the admin window and quickly reset the deadline to the past to keep anyone else from accessing the application.
Return to the Grant Manager Dashboard and change the applicant's status to 'Exception'.
Then notify the applicant that they can now log in, complete, and submit their application.
Notes and Alerts
📝 Note: The status will change back to Received after the applicant submits their application.
💡 Tip: If the application deadline has not passed, move the applicant to the Incomplete status instead of Exception to allow them to make edits.
⚠️ Alert: When an applicant is put into the Exception status, they are no longer beholden to any deadlines. Be sure to communicate when they are expected to resubmit.
